BAKER M.J. MASEKO
Chairman (B.Juris, LLB)
Obtained his Junior Degree in Law from the University of the Western
Cape and completing his Senior Degree in Law with UNISA. He
previously was Executive Deputy Chairperson and co-founder of
Azaguys Advertising and Marketing, responsible for strategy and
business development in the mass market.
BMJ Maseko was also joint Agency Head and joint Head of Strategy
for the African National Congress, National Election Campaign 1999.
He is the founder and Chairman of New Credit Managers (Pty) Ltd, which provides credit management
solutions and debt recovery systems to the public and private sector. He further acts as Chairman of
Lesira Trading (Pty) Ltd, Lesira Teq (Pty) Ltd (Manufacturing and Facilities Supplier to Municipalities),
Ashante Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd (Investments in Exploration and Mining of Diamond and Coal
Resources), BMJ Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd (Multi Disciplinary Investments Holding Company)
and Nala Globe Transportation Solutions (Pty) Ltd (Transport and Fleet Management).
He is a liquidator/trustee duly appointed by the Master of the Supreme Court of South Africa. He
further serves as a Councilor on the Council for Debt Collectors and is a Board Member of the
Association of Debt Recovery Agencies. |

CORNE RICHARDS
Managing Director
Obtained his Law degree from the university of Pretoria. Had his first stint of
employment with ABSA Bank’s Legal and Risk Management Department
for five years. He proceeded to join John Craig’s Legal Department, where
he became instrumental in the formation of MISAB Collection Agency.
He became the first Managing Director of MISAB, specializing in collections
within the retail business market. He subsequently joined the NICS group
in 2001 where he currently serves as a Managing Director. |

TIAAN JONK
Executive Director: Finance
Graduated from Rand Afrikaans University with a B.Comm and
University of South Africa with a B.Compt Hons majoring in Accounts,
Tax, Auditing and Cost Accounting. Completed 5 years articles with
the now KPMG. Spent 10 years in distribution, manufacturing and
marketing, developing entrepreneurial skills, building brands and
customer loyalty. Joined the NICS Group in 2003. |

TLHOLO APHANE
Executive Director: Human Resources & Administration
She obtained her BCom (Administration) from the University of the
North. She proceeded to enhance her skills by further completing the
following Diplomas with different institutions: Elementary Business
English, Personal Productivity, Human Resource Management and
Business Presentation Skills. She started her working career at Get Ahead
Foundation in Pretoria as a Human Resources Officer and subsequently
as a Manager for five years before proceeding to join Grand Finance
in 1997 as Branch Manager. She later proceeded to Blue Dot Properties as Co-ordinator – Risk and
Arrears in 2001 and subsequently Blue Dot Finance as Risk and Group Collections Manager. |

STRANGER GREEN
Managing Executive: Special Projects
He obtained his Higher Education Diploma at the University of Western
Cape. He worked for Gray Security Company in Bloemfontein, he later
was transferred to Johannesburg where he served as an Admin Manager
within the Administration and Finance Department. He subsequently
joined the New Integrated Credit Solutions in 2001 where he served as
an Area Manager for the Central Region.
He later was promoted to a position of an Executive Manager of Special Projects where he currently
serves. He possesses expertise in managing client relationships between the company and a range
of clients such as John Craig, ABSA, Matlosana, Mangaung, Bela-Bela, MEGA, Lekwa- Teemane,
Thulamela Local Municipalities, etc. |

CALEB MAKAKABA
Managing Executive: Operations
He obtained his BAEd degree at Vista University and started his career with
Living Pine SA (Pty) Ltd specializing in the Quality Control of the final line.
He moved to Sales House Credit Office in Pretoria 1998 with the focus on
collections as a Consultant.
He later moved to MISAB & Associates in 1999 as a Consultant where his
specialty was collections and he was elected as a team leader in 2002. He
was subsequently been employed by New Integrated Credit Solutions as an
Area Manager specializing in Collections with the special focus of overseeing junior managers. He later
was promoted to a position of an Executive Manager of Operations, where he currently serves. |

JOE MAHLANGU
Managing Executive: Sales and Marketing
He has a National Diploma in Travel and Tourism acquired from the
Technicon of South Africa and has completed his ND: Business Administration
and Management. He completed a diploma in Marketing and has enrolled for a BCom in Marketing Management with UNISA.
He worked for a number of years as a support officer for one of the leading
IT companies in SA, Procon Fischer, assisting the Municipalities/ Traffic and
Licensing Departments nationally with management, training and auditing services. He joined NICS in 2006
and is accountable for the marketing duties which includes keeping in touch with changing circumstances
that may necessitate changes to marketing strategies and analyse problems objectively and apply variable
techniques to their solutions. |

Walter D.T Lekola
Admin Manager
Obtained his National Diploma in Public Management and Administration
from the Tshwane University of Technology. He is presently studying BTech
(Business Administration) through TSA. He started his career as a bank
teller for Permanent Building Society before proceeding to John Craig
Credit Office as a Credit Management Officer in 1994. He was later
promoted to Senior Debt Collector in the Great North Region in 1996.
He joined MISAB & Associates in 1998 as the Senior Admin Clerk and is currently the Admin Manager
of NICS, overseeing all administration related services. He possesses a critical understanding of the
administrative and legal collection processes. |

Johan Steyn
It Manager
He started his working career in 2001 at Lexpro Systems as a Systems
Developer, accountable for the development and upgrades of
various functions for systems used by Debt Collection Organizations
operating on C/C++. In 2004 when he left Lexpro, he was a Software
Development Team Leader. He since then joined NICS as the Systems
Developer. He possesses a 6 years development experience in a Debt
Collection environment. He was promoted to being an IT Manager in
2006. He also has acquired qualifications through short courses such as: Visual Basic, C# .Net,
MS SQL 2005 and MySql. He has three IT specialists working under him. |

Jan Abraham De Jager
Legal Manager
He started his working career at Grobler Levin Soonius Attorneys in
Rustenburg. He worked as a candidate attorney for 2 years where he
obtained valuable experience in the field of law. He was placed in a
number of departments where he obtained knowledge and experience in
the different fields of the law. Amongst the things he did, he was occupied
with civil litigation, commercial law as well as 3rd party claims instituted
against the Road Accident Fund. He left Grobler Levin Soonius Attorneys
in 2009 whereafter he joined New Integrated Credit Solutions as part of their Legal Department.
His current job description includes drafting of summonses and other legal documents, attending to
defended matters, signing of all legal documents, drafting of agreements/contracts for NICS, attending
to Legal disputes from clients and attending to matters relating to Commercial Law |

Nadia Badenhorst
Manager: Finance
Obtained her BCom(Financial Accounting) degree in 1999 from the
University of Pretoria and also started her working career in the same year at
an accounting firm called Allsolve Accounting as an Assistant Accountant.
Joined NICS in May 2004 as Accountant and was later promoted to Financial
Manager when the Finance Department expanded. She now has two
financial assistants reporting to her. She is responsible for managing the trust
bank accounts, the payover processes and all other financial processes. |
