1. We have the capacity to establish satellite offices within the Municipalities we serve, SPACE intended at providing an extended service to the local constituency.
2. NICS will identifies one suitable office space within the precinct of the municipality or alternatively within reasonable proximity of the municipality.
3. We currently have satellite offices within municipalities such as; Mbombela (Nelspruit), Thulamela (Thohoyandou), Matlosana (Klerksdorp), Kungwini (Bronkhorstspruit), Ekurhuleni (Benoni), UThungulu District (Richards Bay) etc.

INDIGENT AUDIT (VALUE ADD)

The installation of the Lexiir system at the Municipality will assist in resolving the following in relation to indigents:

1. To record the manual register of indigents in excel and load all arrear accounts electronically onto the Lexpro system.
2. Merge all excel accounts numbers with arrear accounts in Lexiir, whereafter all the details on registered indigents will be in an electronic format.
3. Dispatch all the indigent data for electronic audit with our national databases.
4. The return of the report will indicate which registered indigents are in fact not indigent and which are. (NB - One would therefore be able to assume with 95% accuracy true indigence versus false indigence.)

• We have an in-house IT department that has already developed, implemented and currently managing interfaces between NICS and the following Client Systems:
• Munsoft/Venus/e-Venus (Kungwini Municipality)
  Venus/e-Venus (Mbombela Municipality)
  Venus/e-Venus (Matlosana Local Municipality)
  SABC Natural Adabas System (SABC)
  SAP System (City of Johannesburg)
• The above mentioned examples provide certainty that our system is compatible with any of the Municipal’s financial system.
  

• NICS Trains municipal current staff on functionality of Lexiir collection systems.
• We Train and advise the staff on how to deal with the indigent register.
• NICS further seconds current personnel working within the municipality’s debt
  collection department. This is done to ensure that work is carried forward even after the contract has ended.
