Accelerated Programme

Accelerated Recovery Programme

  • This happens when the service provider offers the municipality cash upfront as a percentage of the total debtors book and retain the debtors book for recovery on an exclusive basis for a pre-determined period.
  • The municipality remains the principal and owner of the debtors’ book while the service provider retains exclusivity for recovery.
  • The municipality and the service provider shall share in the upside (after initial capital paid upfront to the municipality and interest is liquidated) in pre-agreed proportion until the end of the contract.

NICS is a member of the Association of Debt Recovery Agents (ADRA) of which our Chairman (Baker Maseko) sat on the board for a period of 10 years. He currently sits on the board of the Council for Debt Collectors (CDC).


The company’s Executives are well conversant with the prescripts of the Debt Collectors Act (Act 114 of 1998). The company has, through ADRA, trained managers and staff on the Regulations and Code of Conduct as provided for in the Act.
